My name is Charles Bombet. I am the founder of The Bombet Company LLC.
I am passionate about helping people identify and execute optimal financial strategies which free them to fully experience life’s best moments.
I began my career in 1988 with The New York Life Insurance Company as an agent, and later became affiliated with NYLIFE Securities LLC as a registered representative. I then pursued and successfully completed the requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner® professional. The principals and best practices of the financial planning process serve to guide our methods in working with clients to deliver optimal results.
I am affiliated as an investment advisor representative with Eagle Strategies LLC, a registered investment advisor and subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.
I am married to Carolyn Picard Bombet who works here at The Bombet Company as Managing Director. We have two daughters and two granddaughters. I have served on the board and as president of The Financial Planning Association of Baton Rouge and am a former Kiwanis Club president. I have also served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Baton Rouge and Beth Shalom Synagogue and am a member of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Baton Rouge, the Society of Financial Services Professionals, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Carolyn and I most enjoy spending time with family and traveling, especially to the mountains. I am an aviation enthusiast, pilot, and aircraft owner.
